Event Info
We want your iSTREAM experience to be as fun, easy and memorable as possible. Here’s everything you need to know.
iSTREAM Australia
23–24 January 2027
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)
Age restrictions
iSTREAM is an all-ages event.
Guests aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while at the event, including during official social events, Meet & Greets and other activities.
Guests aged 15, 16 and 17 can attend without a parent or guardian.
We recommend parents and guardians review the event program and creator line-up to decide whether individual sessions and content are suitable for younger attendees.
You may be asked to provide proof of age, identity or guardianship when entering the event.
Meet & Greets
The full Meet & Greet line-up and details will be announced in late 2026.
Some ticket packages include access to free Meet & Greets, which will be announced later in the year.
Meet & Greets are subject to registration and venue capacity, and having a package that includes Meet & Greet access does not guarantee entry to a particular creator's session.
Keep an eye out on iSTREAM’s social pages where we will announce when the sign ups open for the paid Meet & Greets.
Guests aged 14 and under must have their parent or guardian with them during Meet & Greets.
VIP, Industry, Creator & All Access tickets
If you've purchased a VIP, Industry, Creator or All Access package, we'll email you approximately 7–10 days before iSTREAM with everything you need to know, including registration times, schedules and package information.
Keep an eye on the email address used to purchase your ticket and make sure your details are up to date.
Package inclusions belong to the named ticket holder and cannot be transferred, resold or separated from the ticket.
Program, panels & creator appearances
There’s going to be a lot happening across the iSTREAM weekend!
Our published program, creator line-up, speakers and session times will be released later in the year. They will be correct at the time they're announced, but sometimes things need to change.
Creator and speaker appearances, schedules and individual sessions may change due to availability or circumstances outside our control.
Some panels, Meet & Greets, workshops and activities will also have limited capacities. We recommend planning your day ahead and arriving early for anything you really don't want to miss.
Tickets & entry
Make sure you have your valid iSTREAM ticket or pass ready when you arrive.
Your ticket gives you access to the dates, sessions and areas included with your ticket type. Some sessions, panels, Meet & Greets and activities have limited capacities, so entry to every activity cannot be guaranteed.
Tickets are issued to the named ticket holder and cannot be resold, transferred or reproduced without approval.
Bag and security checks may take place when you enter, so please allow plenty of time to get inside.
Early entry & express lanes
Selected packages include early entry, fast-tracked access or express lanes for selected panels, Meet & Greets and creator sessions.
These will help you get through designated queues faster but don't guarantee immediate entry. Venue and session capacities will still apply.
Merch & package collection
Merchandise, lanyards and tote bags included with ticket packages will be available for collection at iSTREAM unless we let you know otherwise.
Package merchandise will not be mailed or shipped, so remember to collect yours while you're at the event.
If your All Access package includes a $30 merchandise voucher, it can be used at official iSTREAM merchandise stands during the event. It can't be exchanged for cash and expires at the end of the event.
Be kind. Be respectful. Have fun.
iSTREAM is all about bringing communities together, and everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unwanted physical or sexual attention, or behaviour that puts other people at risk will not be tolerated.
Please be respectful of fellow attendees, creators, speakers, exhibitors, staff and volunteers, and follow any reasonable directions from event staff, security and venue teams.
Anyone behaving in an unsafe, unlawful, disruptive or disrespectful way may be asked to leave the event.
If you experience something that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or see someone who needs help, please speak to an iSTREAM team member or security.
On-site contact details will be available closer to the event.
Photos, videos & content
You'll definitely want to capture some memories!
Casual photos on your phone or personal camera are welcome, as long as they don't disrupt sessions or go against a creator or speaker's request not to be recorded.
Professional photography, livestreaming, broadcasting or recording of ticketed sessions isn't permitted unless you've received approval from iSTREAM.
Approved media and content creators may also have additional accreditation requirements.
You might be on camera
iSTREAM will be photographed, filmed, livestreamed and recorded throughout the weekend, so you may appear in event photography or video.
This content may be used to promote iSTREAM online, on social media and in future event marketing.
If you'd prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let our team know at registration and we'll make reasonable efforts to accommodate you. Please keep in mind that we can't guarantee you won't appear in wide crowd shots, livestreams or incidental footage in public areas.
Refunds & event changes
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable for change of mind.
If iSTREAM is cancelled or materially postponed, ticket holders will be offered the applicable options in accordance with the event Terms & Conditions and Australian Consumer Law.
If a creator or speaker is unable to appear, or part of the program changes, this does not automatically mean you're entitled to a refund.
If a medical professional directs you not to attend, you can request consideration for a refund or ticket exchange. You'll need to contact us with supporting medical documentation within seven days of the affected event date.
